JETHRO TULL Broadsword and The Beast 40th Anniversary hails from 2023 and is a SEALED 4LP box set. Known for their innovative fusion of progressive rock and folk influences, Jethro Tull announces 40th anniversary editions of their fourteenth album BROADSWORD AND THE BEAST. Originally released in 1982, it was a groundbreaking album that captivated fans with its distinctive blend of rock, folk, and progressive influences. The album's masterful storytelling, accompanied by Ian Anderson's unmistakable flute melodies, garnered critical acclaim and has become a fan favourite over the years.
The 4LP set (one a double LP) in a card slipcase will feature a 28-page 12x12 booklet and include The Broadsword and the Beast (Steven Wilson remix of original LP), Double-Edged Sword (Steven Wilson mixes of additional Broadsword recordings March 1981 to January 1982), plus The Maison Rouge Demos.
