JETHRO TULL - BBC ROCK HOUR - 1984 US RADIO SHOW LP - NEAR MINT
This is a very rare US Radio Show LP of the program "BBC Rock Hour" a weekly program of live music on the American FM Radio Network, hosted by Richard Skinner and Ian Anderson. Tracklisting: Side 1: Locomotive Breath (Instrumental) (02:26); Hunting Girl (03:35); Later That Same Evening (03:50); Pussy Willow (04:45); Clasp (04:15); Living In The Past (04:10); Side 2: Under Wraps (04:07); Thick As A Brick (06:45); Locomotive Breath (06:55); Too Old To Rock & Roll, Too Young To Die (08:20). All nicely talked together by Richard Skinner and Ian Anderson and spiced with various commercials. Total running time is approximately 1 hour.
This concert was recorded live at the Hammersmith Odeon, London on 9th September 1984 for Radio broadcast both on the BBC and on US FM Radio Network. Part of this live performance has resulted in the 1990 LP/CD release "Live At Hammersmith '84" on the Raw Fruit Records label and on numerous live CD's.

This LP was to be aired on US Radio the week of 9th December 1984. It is released by the London Wavelength label, New York, USA under licence of the BBC, release number BC #550. The record comes with its original cue sheet for the ease of broadcasting (see picture).
The LP comes in a white paper inner sleeve with inside plastic protection, and goes in a single white outer sleeve. The cue sheet is apart.
The LP is in excellent, near mint condition; there is hardly any surface noise and absolutely no deterioration in the sound quality; there are no scratches and no jumps. The inner and outer sleeves are in the same condition, no stains, no tear, no wear, no writing.... like new! This is an absolute beauty and can be graded as in Near Mint condition.
US Radio Shows are hard to find and this one is mega rare; a great Jethro Tull performance anno 1984!!
