Description
This is the original UK LP by JETHRO TULL, THIS WAS, 1st Press MONO, released in October 1968 on the PINK ISLAND label ILP 985with the black and orange 'circle' logo, with the original 1968 1st issue laminated MONO gatefold cover with top flipbacks inside. Matrix numbers are, side 1:- ILP +985 +A, side 2:- ILP +985+ B.
The original 1968 UK 1st issue MONO gatefold cover is in EX+ condition, lovely and clean, inside and outside, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable, maintaining it's broadness, the cover maintains it's bright vibrant colour, minimal wear, SUPERB condition.
The vinyl is visually in VG+++ condition, with some light marks, which donot effect the audio at all, the audio grading is a STUNNING EX+++/MINT-, the vinyl plays suberbly with crisp, clear razor sharp clarity!, a STUNNING LISTENING EXPERIENCE!, and a SUPERB LP.
The label's are in EX+ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole, shows only minimal wear, the label';s maintain their vibrant pink colour, great label's.
The vinyl is housed in a polythene lined white inner sleeve and is in EX+ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, only slight ageing.
Altogether a great copy of this RARE original 1968 UK 1st press MONO LP by JETHRO TULL, THIS WAS, the vinyl plays SUPERBLY.
