JESUS GENERATION top weird strange xian outsider garage Shipping Info | S/H info: Description THE JESUS GENERATION a thief in the night on GOSPEL WORLD records (private press, houston, TX 1971?) teen garage band from the early 70's jesus movement reworks popular rock tunes with christianized lyrics. the two beatle's covers "something" and "calvary" (sung to the tune of "yesterday") are mind-blowingly strange - almost impossible to fathom that they could be real, let alone sincere, yet they are both. really good songs and amateur performances on many tunes, some with trashy fuzz guitar, and as far as weird albums to play for your friends, this is way, WAY up there.
