Description
Oustanding and very scarce vintage rockabilly cat 45 rpm featuring JESSIE FLOYD, on the DIXIE RECORDS label out of ASHBORO, NORTH CAROLINA, from approximately the late fifties. I have not been able to find out much about this record in my research, but it is a great one. Titles are "HANGOVER BLUES" b/w "SATAN'S WIFE." This is a stock copy, blue label with silver print. Catalog number is 1063.
Record is in very nice shape, I would grade it a nice VG+ to VG++. Has nearly 100% of the original gloss, almost no wear, a few slight scuffs but no serious marks, plays beautifully with superb clean fidelity. I provided a sound clip so you can judge for yourself.
Nice clean labels, very slight wear marks, but no writing, stickers, or other problems.

On Nov-16-05 at 20:10:57 PST, seller added the following information: I found a reference that this 45 is from March of '64, not the late fifties as I had guessed. On Nov-19-05 at 00:02:47 PST, seller added the following information:To give everyone an opportunity to hear both sides of the record and in particular the guitar solo on “Hangover Blues” and the quality of the sound, I uploaded sound files of both sides in their entireity. These are from the actual 45 record up for auction here.
