Description

Two lovely sides by Thomas whose unique vocal and guitar style is well on show here with plenty of dextrous guitar work particularly on the tongue twister 'Double D..' side. This was recorded in 1948 and is his first post was issue although he recorded as far back as 1929! His brother was Ramblin' Thomas who recorded a year earlier. Lafayette Thomas was also related. What a family!
This record is in nice shiny condition and plays well with some very low surface but vocals and guitar are loud and clear so I have graded it E- . A nice example from 1948 when pressings could be dodgy. Quite scarce.
