OK - HOLIDAYS ARE OVER, BACK TO SOME GOOD 45s OF VARIOUS STYLES - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL LATER PRESSING SUN RECORDS U.S. 7" 45 IN COMPANY SLEEVE of the 1956 first Jerry Lee Lewis 45 containing the songs 'Crazy Arms' / 'End Of The Road'. It is Sun Records U.S. catalog number 259, thick rigid vinyl pressing.
Although the label graphics on this later press 45 differ from the graphics used by Sun on the 1956 original, this is definitely a Sun Records original and not a later Shelby Singleton issue - I have compared the runout area matrix information to my 1956 original pressing, and everything is 100% identical to the 1956 original - The etched matrix numbers are identical in style and content, and the width of the dry runout areas on this later pressing are also identical to those on the 1956 original pressing. Record comes packaged in its original Sun Records company sleeve which dates this pressing from 1958 or sometime afterward.
Visual condition of play surface is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Labels have a tiny bit of contact wear, no other problems. Sun Records company sleeve has some wrinkles and a couple of small tears along its center hole. This 45 would be a nice addition to any Sun Records or rockabilly record collection!
