"WELL CUT" from the Belgian JENGHIZ KHAN is without any doubt one of the BEST Hard Progressive LP's ever issued !!!

Extremely rare to find as original first press on BARCLAY cat. no. 920.313T , and believe me, that also applies for BELGIUM. Mint/Mint Copies , for those very rare that turn up, are fetching prices of 450 to 500 Euro at Belgium Record Fairs.

The music of JENGHIZ KHAN does not truly relate to anything, the sound is unique, allthough here and there there are snifs of the other Belgium Hard Progsters , the famous "IRISH COFFEE" that can be heard! In any case, all Belgium Rock experts agree: JENGHIZ KHAN is on equal par with IRISH COFFEE. Both records are extremely collectable and sought after by Psych/Prog Record collectors worldwide. In any case, it serves no purpose, to say more about this record , Hard Prog Collectors do not need more explanations. "Well Cut" was the only Record ever released by JENGHIZ KHAN.

LABEL : BARCLAY 920.313T, original first press January 1971

CONDITION: RECORD is Thick heavy vinyl of ca. 160 grams and has its original sheen. Side one looks and plays Near Mint, Side two has two tiny scratches, so out of precaution I played side 2 on a 1970 TECHNICS SL110 Studio Deck with SME III and Shure V15 and I cannot hear any ticks or disturbance. Only between the tracks I can hear some background noise (as can be heard on most records). Labels: hard to see spindle marks, no unwanted writings, etc... So, for the avoidance of all doubts I will downgrade the record to a EX+, in that case the buyer will not be dissapointed !

CONDITION SLEEVE: The Sleeve is highly colourfull and laminated, laminate fully intact. When turned into bright light one can see a minute start of ringwear, but you need to look hard for it. There is some tiny corner wear. There are a few micro creases, but again one need to look very closely. There is some wear from the record pushing against the spine and the bottom seam. So I will give the Sleeve a VG++ rating.

PLAYGRADE: As said  before, this record plays without any disturbance, loud and crisp for which the very early Barclay Pressings were so famous.
