Description
On offer is the 1972 Mike Vernon produced Jellybread album on Blue Horizon Records. This was the second album from the group. Pete Wingfield and Chris Waters had departed to be replaced by Rick Hayward and Kenny Lamb from The Christine Perfect Band. With original members Paul Butler and John Best, this was the group that recorded 'Back To Begin Again'. And what a fine album it is - British Electric Blues at its best.
The Vinyl. It plays really well - I am listening to it now. Graded VG+ The labels are clean with no marks, scuffs....... Look like new. The Sleeve. Shows very slight storage wear to spine. Inside the gate-fold sleeve is the very slight browning - hardly evident in photo. On the outer sleeve are 2 blemishes. First on the back side of the sleeve someone has removed a price sticker to leave a 15mm x 10mm white mark. On the front sleeve is a new price sticker (17mm x 10mm)- the buyer could remove this I'm sure. If you tilt the sleeve into a light source very slight indentations are evident - someone has unwittingly used the sleeve beneath a note pad or something. This is not evident in the photos because you really have to be looking for it. Given the honest description the Sleeve is graded VG-
I have been as accurate as you would expect. What is a truth is the brilliance of this music.
