One of the rarest and most difficult to find psych albums on a legendary Mainstream psych/garage label (which also included Big Brother and the Holding Co.; Tangerine Zoo; Stone Circus; Amboy Dukes and many others in their roster), this was the one and only album by this obscure psych band. The album has PSYCHEDELIC written all over it in bold, capital letters. Listening to this classic garage freakout album, one can’t help but wonder why this band never made it. It seems to me that they had musical talent and creativity that was considerably grater than that of their peers. And, of course, the classic cover has to be seen to believed. The music is gentle and moody, with much psych and baroque ornamentation, but also quite a lot of feedback, fuzz and distortion for maximum psych-out effect. Not one bad song here, and they are: Country woman - Generation - Poor Precious Dreams - Another August Revisited - Going Nowhere - Happiness Girl - Goodtime feeling - September Rain - Neon River - Plastic Soldiers - Say Mann - Tapestries. Missing out on this insanely rare psych album would be an act of utter psych-osis…

(a)            THE VINYL IS IN DECENT, VERY GOOD (VG) CONDITION. CAUTION: The vinyl is NOT MINT or NEAR MINT, but is nevertheless in clean, playable condition. There are a few surface marks and abrasions, mostly light and superficial, although some may be longer than 1.1/4 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters) and a few others that might cause short periods of pops and clicks, specially during the low, quiet passages.

(b)            The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(c)             Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

THE COVER IS ABOUT VERY GOOD+(+)

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-         Cover has some light ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 4 (front side) and 3 (back side)

-         Cover has a partially split bottom seam (between 1 and 2 inches / 2.5 to 5 centimeters)

-         Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the spine

-         Cover has some visible fraying/tattering on the top and bottom seams.

-         Minor shelf wear noted on the spine

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER:

-         No cut-out (drill) holes.

-         No cut-out corners

-         No saw-marks or indents

-         No dirt/dust rubbing stains (friction marks caused by rubbing against other covers)

-         No yellowing from aging
