Description

Available here is a special limited edition and numbered box set of Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of the War of the Worlds. Issued in the UK by CBS in 1978, it has the catalogue number WOW 100, while this one is specifically numbered 07363.

The set should comprise the following items -

2x12" Vinyl LP set in gatefold sleeve
Large format booklet - 16 pages with artwork, credits, information etc
Large fold-out poster
Book - War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells
Sturdy presentation box with silver embossed lettering

The actual record labels state Made in England and bear the catalogue numbers for the standard vinyl release.

Vinyl Condition - Excellent - Both records are extremely bright and clean and the sound is superb. Looking little played, there’s barely a surface mark and no worrying scratches. I can confirm that there is no jumping, sticking or clicks, while background crackle/noise is virtually non-existent, or negligible if heard.

Cover/Sleeve Condition - Excellent - All of the various inner component parts are in excellent condition, thanks to the protection from the outer box. This however, has minor abrasions to the back panel.

If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting.
