ADD. GRADE INFO:  Vinyl is an incredible EX-. Has some visible but non audible surface scratches. Plays here and there with a little background hiss as expected from a 45 year old record. Original laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover is EX-, very close to a straight EX, but a litlle edge/ringwear keeps the EX- where it is. (see photo) 

INFO:  Rare and incredible find. 1st press with the black/blue Columbia label. WIth "Sold in the UK....". Matrix is YAX 3706-1 and YAX 3707-1. Virtually every other Stereo pressing I have ever seen is on the later black/silver Columbia labels - not this one!!! It is one of the impossibly rare 1st press Stereo copies that were on the blue/black 1st Press Columbia labels!!! Complete with the rare 1st press laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve - this is a seriously rare record. It is one of those IMPOSSIBLE albums to find nowadays as a 1st press, especially in condition such as this - It just doesn't happen anymore - even on eBay!  With -1/-1 matrix endings being one thing, the mother stampers are really really low at 1  G G and 1 H!!!

We use the official GOLDMINE GRADING RANKING when grading vinyl:

SS (Still Sealed): Still sealed in its original shrinkwrap.

NM (NEAR MINT): The record appears as brand new, but a closer look reveals that it may have been played once. Flawless and without any problems.

EX (Excellent): A record in really good condition. It can have some minor scratches maybe some light scuffs from contact with the inner sleeve, but nothing that affects the sound.

EX- (Excellent Minus): A record in really good condition. It can have some minor scratches maybe some light scuffs from contact with the inner sleeve, and maybe a little noise or a small crackle, but not enough to grade it as VG+.

VG+ (Very Good Plus): The record will have appeared to have been played, and have some visible wear (hairlines, light scratches, scuffs...ALWAYS DESCRIBED WITH US!), but the record is playable and listenable.

It is very rare that we sell vinyl below VG+ condition. It only occurs if the item is of special interest to collectors.
