An Excellent condition disc. No visible surface marks. Bright shiny vinyl. No spindle marks. Original USA pressing on THE AMAZING KORNYFONE RECORD LABEL, WITH PASTED COVER ON CARD SLEEVE.
This is the original pressing of this LP with the 'World's Records' credits, and misleading song titles on the labels.
I have owned the LP from new, and it has been played very few times (less than 5). No skips, sticking, jumps, scuffs, warps, or scratches. Very good pressing, but it has to be remembered that the original source material for this record is only of average quality to begin with, being from the 1970's. Some occasional surface noise. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Sleeve in Excellent condition. Heavy card with pasted cover. Non-laminated. Still crisp condition. No wear anywhere. No seam splits anywhere. No writing anywhere. No creasing. No wear to spine.
Supplied in original plain white inner sleeve, which is in Very Good condition. Some creases. No seam splits or writing anywhere, but some minor age-related discolouration in places.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
