Description

Up for auction is a Jazz LP record by Hank Mobley, "Hank," Blue Note Records, 1560, 1957, Mono. Label has 47 West 63rd St. address and deep groove. RVG is stamped in trailoff in addition to the "ear."

Lineup for this record is: Donald Byrd, trumpet; John Jenkins, alto sax; Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Bobby Timmons, piano; Wilbur Ware, bass; "Philly" Joe Jones, drums.

Record is in very good condition. I see only one light surface line on each side. Labels are perfect and surface has a nice gloss.

The front of the album has a beige background color and I honestly cannot tell if that is the original color or the result of age discoloration. There are no splits on the album, and the corners look good. There is a spot where the lamination is chipped along opening edge. Back has some age discoloration and scrubbing.

NOTE ON PACKING: Records are shipped out of sleeve. Both record and cover are bagged and bubble wrap is put between record and cover and record and cardboard before being wrapped in cardboard record mailer. Extra cardboard or bubble wrap is used to protect corners. If you have a postal service that is particularly hard on packages, let me know. Since I ship worldwide, I realize that some packages might need a little extra padding or care.
