Description
JAZZ CO/OP - SELF TITLED LP - Philips 6641 225.
On offer is a scarce Australian avant-garde/modern jazz 2LP from 1974. This great example of the experimental jazz scene in Sydney in the early/mid 70’s features: HOWIE SMITH (soprano/tenor sax) / ROGER FRAMPTON (piano) / JACK THORNCRAFT (bass) / PHIL TRELOAR (drums). Nine of the tracks are original compositions.
The records are in EX/EX+ condition. A couple of small, light marks that don’t affect playing or listening enjoyment. A handful of single light pops over the whole four sides (you usually find this on most LP’s). The gatefold cover is EX(+). A couple of small dings on the bottom edge. There is an imprint of the outside edge of the records but the lamination is not worn.
A nice copy of a rare record.
