EXCERPTS FROM AMERICAN JAZZ & BLUES CONCERTS

2-Sided JAZZ-BLUES Acetate. PIRATE No.145. Here is a ultra rare, possibly unique, impossible to find original Jazz / Blues 2-Sided acetate album that features some superb historic live Jazz / Blues recordings. I cannot find out a thing about this item using Google, but what I can say is that it is super-rare and would be pretty much impossible to replace. It features such legends as Kay Starr, Jimmy Witherspoon, Red Norvo's Nine, Roy Milton's Band, Helen Humes & others.

CONDITION

The condition of the actual acetate is visually a brilliant near mint, this rare disc has obviously been barely even played since pressed. Both sides play and sound great with just some occasional light background crackle and the odd tic (just a couple throughout both sides), so whatever very little background noise there is is extremely minor. The sound quality is still excellent through all tracks. The paper label on Side-1 is clean and has typed track details, side two plays too but there is no label attached. The vinyl comes in it's original clear polythene bag, this is still in good condition with no holes or splits. The outer die-cut white card cover is in very good condition, one side is black with the die-cut hole visible, and the other has a square piece of paper attached with track/musician details neatly typed, this paper was attached with thin strips of clear tape, but over a long time, this tape has dried and a few strips have come away.
