Description
Jasis "Sponataneous Improvisation" Rare OG Private Press out of Seattle, WA. No date listed, but most likely from the early 70s. Topaz Records TLS 1207
Killer echoey modal Vibraphone jazz from from Vibist Milt Simons. Solid LP all the way through with beautiful moments of spacey bliss.I can definitely see why the album has been commanding the $500+ price tag of late. If you are a fan of Billy Wooten's "The Wooden Glass Recorded Live", I think you will dig this album. Jasis is lesser known at this point, but not for long. This is the only copy I have ever seen in person and i'm sure it was super limited in its pressing. I can't imagine many copies exist in the wild.
Condition: I'm grading this as VG. It does have some slight background noise during the quiet parts of the record, but overall sounds great. The cover has a little edge wear and on the right side - two of the corners have a little bit of creasing/bump. See images to get a better idea of the condition.
