GRADING EX Warped
Vinyl is clean and bright with a warp. Plays well with a weight of 1 on the arm - no skips or jumps.. Labels bright and clean. Plain sleeve. See photos.
NOTE ABOUT WARP: This record sold in 2019 for £186 but was returned by the buyer as it ‘sticked’ on his equipment. I retested and found that it only stuck on the lead in on occasions, but otherwise plays well with a weight of 1 on the arm. At the time I decided not to relist but I have now retested and decided it is an EX copy if the warp is taken into consideration in the set up.
ABOUT THIS RECORD
This record comes from the collection of the late Michael de Koningh - reggae historian, regular contributor to Record Collector magazine, and co-author of “Young, Gifted and Black - The Story of Trojan Records” and “Tighten Up - The History of Reggae in the UK”.
GRADING
I grade visually under a daylight lamp so my grading may be harsher than some and I listen to samples of the record through headphones, picking up light background crackles that may not be obvious through speakers. I use an excellent vintage DJ turntable and stylus and a slight weight on the arm.
My gradings are from M-Mint to G-Good. I rarely grade M unless the item is sealed.
PAYMENT, PACKING and POSTAGE
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE CURRENT LOCKDOWN SITUATION, I am not sure when I will be able to post items. However I will prepare packaging, add tracking details and hold parcels safely until such time as I can get to the Post Office. I will try to keep you updated with progress.

I aim to send your item to you within 3 days of payment. Sometimes circumstances prevent this, but I will try to let you know.
I use 2nd Class Signed For or International Tracked and Signed. I supplement the cost of most International postage and I don’t charge for packaging. I don’t send items without tracking.
I will combine postage for multiple items - just request an invoice and I will alter the postage costs for you.
I use professional packaging and board stiffeners for protection. I separate disc from cover for LPs/picture sleeves. I tape your item up well to avoid split seams on packaging so please open your item with extreme care.
