This is an original promo pressing of the ultra rare unknown private press (Ipswich, MA) folk / outsider / psych folk LP:  JANUS "A BEGINNING" (SELF RELEASED / DECTO Recording Service / stereo / DRS 1701).

JANUS is credited as SHELLEY SINCLAIR & LANI WHEELER.

Record appears to be in excellent condition - sounds great and plays with only a light crackle at times that does not overpower music. 

Cover shows some light wear - top seam split appx. 5 inches at opening seam and appx. 2 inches on either side of top left corner.  Promo stamp on cover - no track listing on jacket.
