Big Brother & The Holding Company canta Janis Joplin war die erste Janis Joplin-LP, die in Argentinien veröffentlicht wurde. Das Cover ist etwas irreführend, da es sich keinesfalls um die erste Big Brother...-Platte handelt, sondern vielmehr eine Mischung aus der ersten und dem Nachfolger Cheap Thrills. Die Rückseite ziert ein Live-Photo von 1968 und ein Aufkleber, die Titel sind in spanisch abgedruckt, ganz klein darunter die englischen Titel in Klammern. Schönes altmodisches "ami-Style" Cover, bei dem die Vorderseite laminiert ist.
Es ist eine Promo, wie man an dem Aufkleber hinten sowie an dem Label-Aufdruck Disco para demonstracion - venta prohibida erkennen kann ("Musterplatte - Verkauf untersagt").

Platte ist wie neu, die Hülle hat nur leichte Gebrauchsspuren.
Big Brother & The Holding Company canta Janis Joplin was the first Janis Joplin LP to be released in Argentina. The cover is a bit misleading, since this is not the first Big Brother... album but rather a mixture of the first and the second album, Cheap Thrills. The back cover has a very nice concert photo from 1968 and a sticker, the songs are written in spanish and, in small letters and brackets, in english underneath. Nice old-fashioned "american style" cover with laminated front slick.
It is a promo copy, as can be clearly seen on the sticker and custom-designed CBS labels saying Disco para demonstracion - venta prohibida ("promo copy - not for sale").

Record is like new, the sleeve has very light wear. Side 1:
