Description
Auctioning off my personally signed copy of Jane's Addiction's first LP on XXX Records, clear vinyl, all signed on the label, with lyrics insert.
In 1987 I assisted Mark Seliger on one of his first shoots for Rolling Stone (he later went on to become Rolling Stone's second chief photographer after Annie Liebowitz); the story was an upcoming east coast band (Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers) and a west coast band, Jane's Addiction. All four members of the band signed the record; Dave Navarro wrote 'I'm driving now', as he was, to our last shoot location. Polaroids are to illustrate authenticity only, and are not part of the auction; the last photo is of Perry explaining his effects to Mark Seliger, shot by me.
Cover shows some slight edgewear and a few light creases; insert is Excellent; vinyl shows some scuffs, and spindle marks on label.
