MEGA RARE and Hard To Find Janes Addiction USA ORIGINAL FIRST Pressed 1st LP - XXX on Strictly Limited Edition CLEAR VINYL. Cat No. XXX1004 Triple X Records. This is the original 1987 release NOT the 1990 re-issue. The re-issue differs from the original pressing by having a barcode on the right hand side on the back cover and a different Catalogue Number. I purchased this LP in 1988 in Hollywood,CA. and was informed that the vinyl run on clear vinyl was limited to 100 copies only. So here is a rare opportunity to bid on the very 1st original pressing of Janes Addiction's 1st LP on the independent triple X label. The 1990 re-issues were also advertised for release on a strictly limited edition of 4 different coloured vinyls (Red,Green,Clear & Purple). In trying to obtain one of each colour, myself and the shop assistant discovered that there were actually 5 different colours the Deep Purple colour also came in a lighter Lilac colour as well. I also have all 5 different coloured vinyls currently listed for auction as seperate items feel free to check out those LP's along with my other Janes Addiction items. Track Listing: side 1 - Trip Away, Whores, Pigs In Zen, 1% & I Would For You. Side 2 - My Time, Jane Says, Rock 'N' Roll, Sympathy & Chip Away. Condition is MINT has never been played.
GRADING:
I grade my records HARD. I mention every flaw: if any. So there are no unpleasant surprises for the buyer. A lot of what I see other sellers rating as EX or Mint I rate VG+. To me Mint has to be brand new/unplayed. VG+ means slight ring wear, NO writing on cover, NO tears, NO sticker marks, etc. Vinyl-little to no surface marks that will not affect play. I believe I am honest and accurate. I dont like unpleasant surprises, neither do I expect, do you.
