The Units -- Ready For The House LP

Original 1978 release on Corwood Industries (Houston TX) (catalog # 0739).

Very nice original copy of the ultra scarce debut Jandek album from 1978, where he chose to go under the name "The Units". Seth Tisue, in his definitive Jandek discography page states: "In the Trubee interview, Jandek says that 1000 copies of the LP were pressed." Check that page to read a ton of insightful reviews of this LP, including Phil Milstein's 1980 review in Op Magazine, where he compared The Units to Half Japanese, The Shaggs, and the Legendary Stardust Cowboy.
