ATTENTION JAN AND DEAN,SURF BEAT,AMERICAN TV,BATMAN FANS AND RARE LP COLLECTORS!AN ORIGINAL UK ISSUE,RARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION,THICK VINYL EMI PRESSED LIBERTY BLACK LABEL LP OF THE 1966 JAN AND DEAN ALBUM:LBY 1309-MONO 1ST EDITION.
"JAN AND DEAN MEET BATMAN".
This LP includes mostly short sketches/stories,a couple of instrumentals and songs based on the cult american TV show with Jan and Dean proving they had spoken word acting abilities and all done with humour housed in a magnificent Laminated front+flipback cover!
Although the TV show was quite popular in the UK,45 years ago,this LP did not gain many sales and had minimum publicity resulting in very few copies turning up!
This is the first copy I have found in many years!
Most copies that turn up on ebay are American ones with hissy,thin vinyl unlike this solid,thick UK pressing which although has a few surface marks,the cover removal type and a short lived faint click on one track,plays beautifully!
In the 1960s,the MAJORITY of copies usually played on old and heavy equipment,THIS COPY being the EXCEPTION!

THE LAMINATED FRONT+FLIPBACK COVER HAS A FEW TINY EDGE CREASES,A LITTLE STAINING AT THE BACK AND A SEMI FAINT DEALERS DELETION RUBBER STAMP,BUT NO WRITING,RIPS OR REPAIRS! THE ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE.
