This is the first edition, 1951, RVG, Flat Rim, mono, Deep Groove, 33 RPM, "P" pressing of JAMES P. JOHNSON's 10" "Stomps Rags and Blues / Rent Party Piano" on the "767 Lexington Ave" labels of 7011.>
VINYL plays with consistent low level surface noise (i.e, static, ?? or ????, relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with occasional pops and ticks (occ. repeating). But instruments are very clean, very strong, very dynamic and full of tone. Very dynamic vinyl plays well. No distortion. No locked grooves. Clean vinyl, good gloss. No Skips. The "767 Lexington Ave" labels are clean with spindle marks. See photos.
10" COVER is in good condition, corners worn, top and bottom seam fully taped. Spine cracking. Back jacket shows aging, tape. See photos.
This LP was play tested. RECORD CLEANED VPI 16.5 VINYL CLEANER.
