Original 1969 BLUES WAY Copy
Beautiful Condition - Very Rare!
This auction is for an original copy of The James Gang - Yer' Album - BLUES WAY BLS-6034 - 1969, produced by Bill Szymczyk. This is the best copy of this rare LP that I've ever found, and it's the original first pressing on the Blues Way label, very rare indeed! GRADING: Disc is graded EX+. Grading is very conservative because the disc appears unplayed with full gloss; it just has very light scuffs from pulling the disc out of the inner sleeve, nothing that would effect play. Vinyl is thick, and the labels are clean and free of spindle marks. The cover is graded M-, and it is in beautiful shape. The back cover has a "not for sale - promotional copy" tag upper right, which clearly designates this as an early pressing. This very first James Gang LP is their most interesting, with many Gang classics. Check out the locking run out groove at the end of side one that repeats "turn me over, turn me over" until the manual tone are is lifted. Those with automatic machines would have missed this special message back in the day. Here's your chance to grab a stone classic from the late 60s in its very limited original form. Rarer than you might think!
