James Galway Plays Songs For Annie (Classical Pop Folk Easy Listening LP) (1978)
Superb UK release.
James Galway accompanied by the National Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Charles Gerhardt.
This album was recorded and released around the same time as Charles Gerhardt's successful series of re-recorded film soundtracks (Korngold, Newman, Waxman, Rozsa) that were produced by George Korngold.
It also maintains their high production values.
Condition
Vinyl – EX. No marks or scratches on visual inspection. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is superb. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. Stunning example.
Outer sleeve (Cover) – EX. Colours remain vibrant and unfaded. Superb laminated front and reverse. Very light corner nicks. Slight disc showthrough outline. A few short vein-like creases. Rear top edge has some light wear. Overall, very fine.
Inner Sleeve – EX. Original RCA. White plastic-lined ‘window’ paper with squared corners. Clean and intact. RCA copyright notice in printed black text on one side.
