James Carr was one of the best R'n'B-Soul singers there was recording during the 1960's, but he didn't reach the audience that Otis Redding or Solomon Burke were able to break into on a popular basis. But those that listened to his work knew of his great recordings. This extremely rare MONO LP from 1967 featured his excellent hit titles such as the title track of the LP, and 'At The Dark End Of The Street', 'Pouring Water On A Drowning Man', 'Love Attack'and more that just oozed Soul! Must have artist in any good R'n'B-Soul collection. Rare!!!
