The seller is continuing the listing of both LP's and singles from a large collection of mostly Northern Soul, DOO-WOP and Garage Rock records.   Most of the records have strong clean vinyl.   Please rely on the photos for condition questions about the labels.    

Here are the notable condition issues. 

First--The Cover. 
The photos will show the very strong label condition on both sides.  No stickers, writing or holes.  There is wear and tearing along the bottom and top edge but no splits are seen.  The corners show some dings and wear.  The spine is intact but there is wear and fading on the title section.  No ring wear can be seen on either side as the original owner always stored records correctly.  A small stain or two can be detected on the back side.  No barcodes (duh) and only the original DJ stamp is seen.  Original, thick cardboard.  The front cover is clean and clear.  There are two small white spots/tears on the left side, near the "ear" lobe in the drawing.  Photos will confirm condition.

Second--The Labels. 
Visually the labels are both clean and free of writing, stickers or excessive signs of wear or spinle scarring.  Note the close ups show a small wrinkle on side 2 at the 6 o'clock position. The photos will confirm the clean, nice quality.

Third--The Vinyl
This first issue pressing features heavy, inflexible material with the deep groove approach.  There is visible scuffing on both sides.  This appears to be storage-based during removing and returning the record to the cover.  In selected, sample listening there are no noticeable issues as far as skipping, deep scratching or excessive popping.  There is some amount of the usual surface background sounds associated with LP's of this age.

Fourth--Dead Wax.
The record has Sam Feldman's initials etched or stamped in the wax trail, as well as an etched date of 1-17-1966.  Also, 'Audiomatrix' and 'Bell Sound' appear in the wax trail, serving as further proof of the authenticity of this first pressing.

This LP epitomizes the fusion of Memphis Blues with Deep Soul.  Truly a monumental compilation of great R&B!  This PROMO, ORIGINAL MONO issue rarely makes it to Ebay so move quickly if you're in search of this LP.

We always take multiple clear, close photos and invite questions about quality or version of an item in advance of bidding. 

Please await our invoice prior to payment.  This is particularly important with international purchases as the value of the final price effects the method of shipment.  See below.

Our refund policy is based on total buyer satisfaction so we only refund full payment upon return.  We do not offer post purchase partial refunds. 

INTERNATIONAL
International Records with values higher than $100 require USPS Priority shipping.  While this results in higher fees for our international buyers, there is no other way to track and guarantee delivery.  Recent negative experiences with Customs in multiple countries have required this policy change. 

A reminder we always comply with Ebay and Customs official policy and code the "value" slot of the Customs Form with the actual purchase price .   Also please note that the USPS 1st International shipping includes a Customs Tracking number.  Recently that number has not been posting on the website with records we have shipped overseas.  Upon contacting the local post office, they were able to confirm all of our shipments had been processed and mailed through their computers but the standard, and previously reliable Customs Tracking number (Usually an LC number) has been missing and inconsistent.  This is probably temporary but we did want our international customers to know that we will continue posting those numbers but do not be alarmed if they are not trackable.  In the rare instance of a missing record, USPS can provide status with a phone call placed to them.
