KING S-938
Original STEREO pressing on the crownless King blue label.
In 1966 mono was still outselling stereo by 10 to 1 on King pressings due to the retail price being $1.00 cheaper.
This cover is still in the original factory shrink wrap, thus, perserving the beautiful gloss and whiteness of the back cover.
This is the extemely rare green and red cover that was STEREO only (mono had different color design).
Cover is in STRONG Near Mint condition.
Incredibly clean with sharp vibrant colors.
There is some green printer over spray from the spine printing to the side on back cover.
Immaculate.
Record is VG+/VG++.
Retains most original gloss and sheen.
Labels are crisp and clean.
There are some cosmetic sleeve scuffs, but, non that cause skips.
Due to the inferior ultra-thick vinyl in King Record pressings there is the inherent mild pops and ticks present.
Pressed on thick non-flexible vinyl for superior sound and audio clarity.
