THE JAM - SETTING SONS. This is a 1st PRESS ORIGINAL USA EDITION LP. Back in 1980 I`ve bought all 3 sealed copies a record shop in Michigan had in stock - one for myself, one for my friend and one as a back-up copy. The US edition had a different track listing to the UK one - they swapped sides 1 and 2 and added a single Strange town. This is guaranteed to be the very first USA pressing, out of the 3 sealed copies 2 were unsealed by me and my friend and both are the 1st pressing made by PRC RECORDING COMPANY, COMPTON CALIFORNIA - with plant identifier "26" on the label and matrices PD∙1∙6249-AS-PRC-C-1-1-1 STERLING/PD∙1∙6249-BS-PRC-C-1-1-1 STERLING. Since all 3 copies were bought in the same place on the same day - I have no doubt a third copy will match description above when unsealed. Once again - the copy offered for sale here is my still sealed back up copy which I kept in my archive for 43 years. THIS ITEM IS IN PERFECT, BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED CONDITION.
