Description
Old eBay prices: £36 + £26. Original first German pressing, released in 1977. The loudest and punkiest 7” release by Mod Revival group The JAM. Their first 7“ was issued on ‘Polydor’ records in (catalogue number 2058 866). UK pressings do not show the catalogue number on the front of the sleeve.‘In The City’ appears on the A-side. The powerful song on the flip titled ‘Takin’ My Love’. Both tracks were produced with the help of ‘Fiction’ label owner and CURE manager Chris Parry who produced the great Mod Punk single ‘Frustration’ by PURPLE HEARTS in 1979 plus the ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ single by the CURE. The sleeve shows soft handling wear on the opening (see scan) otherwise the condition is:

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
