Description

Beautiful copy of the rare 1976 Jade and Sarsaparilla LP, independently released on Submaureen Records JS-723. Now legendary as an early Lesbian-themed album, with songs sung by a couple, Linda Langford and Janet Hood. Classic mid-70s post-hippie soft pop with some bluesy shouters as well. This is truly a lovely copy, too, in excellent condition. The disc does have a few superficial sleeve scuffs but they don't affect the play at all. Plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover is also nearly pristine with barely any wear. The corners are very slightly rubbed but really not much at all. No ringwear, no seam splits, no rips or creases. This is a beautiful copy, the best available! And it comes with the lovely lyric insert with a great suggestive 1920s illustration. A top, top original of this classic. Hard to beat.
