Hello there Vertigo fans!!,
Hello there all! My name is Tyler, and I am huge Vertigo fan (fanatic)/collector, and have collected over many, many years my lot of over 50 or so of the Genuine UK Original First Press Vertigos! You may remember me months back on ebay (Check my feedback) selling my non-UK Vertigos/collectibles, and during that time, I stated in so many words, that I would never part with my UK Vertigos, as I cherish them so, and because they are the most collectable! Well, it's time I guess to go against my word, and start selling them off (Due to space constraints, etc.), so keep checking back often to see what UK Vertigos I'm putting up (All of them Genuine UK First Presses)! Details -
Sleeve - This gatefold, gimmixed, and un-laminated sleeve is in EX+ condition. The front and back of the sleeve is lovely, and the many colors on the sleeve still retain all their vibrancy, and look stunning! There is no fading to the colors! The edges of the sleeve are still intact and lovely, there are no splits or tears to any of the edges. The gimmixed portion of the sleeve, the doors on the bus, are fully working and intact, which can be rare to find (See pics), and exhibits just very, very minor creases to the edges of the doors, due to the opening and closing of them. The inner gatefold is lovely, and exhibits only minor rubbing, due to shelf wear. There are no sticker tears, glue residue, writing, or marks to the sleeve. The only fault to this whole sleeve is just a tiny bit of ring wear to the back of the sleeve, due to shelf wear, but is very minor, and doesn't detract anything from this stunning sleeve (See pics). A solid, stunning EX+ sleeve, and quite lovely considering its age!
Labels/Spine/Inner - Both sides labels are clean, and in M condition, and the matrix numbers accompanying the labels are machine stamped (As is the case with all UK First Presses). The spine is in M condition! A swirl inner sleeve/bag is included, and comes in EX+.
Vinyl - The vinyl comes in M- condition, and when inspecting the album, it has no scratches or marks on it, and still retains its beautiful, black shine! This one looks like it was just unsealed and taken out for the first time! A beautiful album! I recently listened to the LP, and there are no jumps, skips, or crackles when playing the LP, so this LP is still very stunning, and is a real keeper for all you Vertigo collectors out there!
Don't miss out on acquiring this mega rare LP! In my opinion, other than both Legend & Freedom UK Vertigos, it's the best album on the label (The first side of the album is amazing! The second side is great too though, don't get me wrong!), so don't miss out on obtaining it, as it gets rarer by the day!
