Great chance to get this wonderful masterpiece of 60s Folk, in his first and original Reissue from 1978 by B&C label, with different cover, very rare, probably much rare than the original one from 1965 that is hard to find. Never seen recently, maybe once long time ago, this reissue on sale on eBay. This is the only recording by this unlucky guy that, influenced by Dylan and fascinated by the Swinging London of mid sixties, performed his first gigs in the middle of glorious folk scene of London, in clubs as 'Les Cousins' and 'Bunjies' along with people like Paul Simon, Ralph McTell, John Renbourn, Bert Jansch, John Martyn, Cat Stevens, Nick Drake and many others. Jackson C. Frank was an Al Stewart's friend at the time and on this recording there is the first and official appearence of the scottish songwriter playing the 2nd guitar on the track 'Yellow Walls'. Unluckily, after serious menthal problems and depression, Frank died of pneumonia and cardiac arrest, in USA, at the age of 56.
