·       NOTE: this delicate, frail,  canvas-like cover is EXTREMELY susceptible to wear and tear, particularly along the seams, where it frays and tears very easily, seemingly by itself. Practically no copy we’ve ever seen was mint or without split seams. To preserve this cover in a truly immaculate condition, the original owner had to be have been very smart and KEEP the original album sealed or at least retain the  protective shrink wrap intact. We are very thankful for the first owner of this album for wisely doing exactly that: keeping the album in its original shrink wrap , thus beautifully shielding and preserving the delicate ‘burpap’ cover from the harmful impact of the elements over the past 38 years.

(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!; we  grade records under the strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight)

(a)          WE GRADE THE VINYL  AS  NEAR MINT. Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL abrasions – mostly sleeve scuffs -  are (barely) visible, but are probably inaudible,  and do not affect visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

(b)          The record comes in its original, custom, inner sleeve, which is UNIQUE to this album.

(c)           The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

·       COVER (this is the original ‘HEMP’ [burlap] cover)

COVER IS STONE MINT AND NOTHING SHORT OF ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, WITHOUT EVEN A HINT OF A FLAW OR DEFECT; A KIND OF BEAUTY YOU ONLY GET TO SEE ONCE IN A LIFETIME.

Note: the previous owner taped the edges of the shrink wrap along the opening slot to the INSIDE of the cover by using two pieces of clear scotch tape. We stress that the tape is not even touching the visible, external part of the cover. This can be easily removed.
