Description
Up for auction is a very nice copy of the Jackie McLean album "It's Time!" released on Blue Note Records in 1964. This is an original stereo pressing, with the W. 61st St. address, New York labels, and "vangelder" and the "Ear" in the run-out. The cover is in great condition, as you can see from the photos. No ring wear on the front, corners are sharp, though the upper left is lightly bumped with a very tiny chip on the seam. Seams are tight, no splits or cracking. The back cover is bone white, no fading, ring wear, or yellowing. The vinyl is in very nice shape too. No scratches or obvious wear. Still has much of the original sheen intact. Perhaps some very faint paper scuffs, but hardly worth mentioning. No marks around spindle holes. Label on Side B shows some light fading along the left side (see photo). Perhaps caused by record cleaner? No big deal. Overall, a well-preserved and cared-for example of this Blue Note release. As a side note, I bought this record from the Jazz Record Center in New York City, one of the most reputable dealers in the world. They had graded this record N-/N- Free shipping with tracking for customers in the U.S.A.
