total thriller from Jackie Mittoo presenting a tune right in the line of "El Bang Bang" or "Jerico Rock"...just listen...KILLLLLLER ROCK STEADY TUNE...dancefloor-filler and enlightening to the max...as the A-side is so big you may tend to oversee the B-side which offers an excellent tune by Theo Beckford scoring with some pop-a-top shuffle sounds...dubble-A-sided from Coxsone...scroll down + check it out...
WAX condition: ex / ex, both sides look great and play with full punch & clear sound...hard to find a better copy, I tell ya...top condition.......!
LABEL condition: A-side near perfect / B-side perfect - watch the scan (showing the B-side!), please!
Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).
THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE:
EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)
VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)
G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
