Vinyl Condition : Excellent. Sensational glossy vinyl. This rare press is absolutely stunning. The grooves are superb and the vinyl is jet black with the original deep gloss. Every track gleams. There are just a couple of very light wispy marks. It can only have been played three or four times at most. The label is also sensational. The white is crisp and bright and the green Apple is clean and bold. The text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear.
Audio condition : We briefly played the vinyl and we are pleased to say it sounds as good as it looks. Exceptional audio separation and depth, extremely clear with no trace of interference at all. It sounds absolutely superb.
Sleeve Condition : Complete with the original company sleeve.
Issue : This is the exceptionally rare UK 1st press of Sour Milk Sea and The Eagle Laughs At You by Jackie Lomax. This was his first Apple release and was a rare Beatles collaboration recorded with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and written and and produced by George Harrison. Eric Clapton and Nicky Hopkin also perform on the track. This 45 was owned, along with many others we are currently listing to a popular British performer and was bought on its release in 1968.
