Description
Revilot RV-208 from 1966 right here in West Michigan.
I NEED MY BABY (an amazing northern -- simply one of the best!) b/w LOVE THAT NEVER GROWS OLD (a tougher-sounding number with some bass growl and quite a vocal workout on it.)
Essential for collectors of Northern Soul, Funk, Motown, R&B, etc.
Disc's G+, well-used. It has a lot of scuffs and scratches. Most scratches are surface scratches that cannot be felt with fingertips, though there are a few scratches which are just deep enough to be felt.
"I Need My Baby" plays through at 1.5g tonearm weight on my Thorens with some pops and sizzle but no skips or sticks. E-mail or call me for a sound clip.
"Love That Never Grows Old" has a deeper scratch that causes a stick, even when played at 2.5g tonearm weight. Obviously this side has some pops and sizzle too.
The labels are slightly worn, but the print's easy to read. The label of "I Need My Baby" has some blue magic marker, but the other label's clean.
A good filler copy of an impossible-to-find single!
