This 1963 rare UK 1st press is on the original black and silver Fontana label. It is complete with the very earliest 1L/1 - 2L/1 matrix and the original heavy card laminated flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has an exceptional gloss, with just a few very light wispy marks. There are no significant signs of play at all. The label has the wonderful original heavy black solid sheen. The silver text is exceptionally sharp and bright and there is only the very slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent, superb audio separation and clarity. When played at volume very light background noise can be heard and there is the slightest noise between tracks but certainly nothing that would spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point. There are no clicks or ticks and no distortion, the sound is still superb throughout.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate has the most sensational polished shine, the colours are vivid and the black text is solid and sharp. There is the slightest corner wear and extremely light wear to the opening edge. The unlaminated rear of the sleeve has very slight discolouration but is still extremely bright and completely clean. The whole of this wonderful heavy card sleeve is very solid and the spine is very firm clear text.
