Description

This is a box set issued by the Mosaic Records reissue program. It archives all of the small-group sessions on Columbia Records featuring the famous jazz trombonist, J. J. Johnson. From his collaborations with fellow trombonist, Kai Winding, to his most famous Columbia recording, "Blue Trombone". There are 11 records included in the set as well as a numbered booklet.  Details:  I use the Goldmine grading system Box- VG+. Flawless with the exception of  the separation of paper on one side. Corners are sharp and cover photo is intact. The box lid fits perfectly into the bottom. Booklet has written number on inside cover (1295 of 7000).  Records: the records were mostly unplayed. There is a bit of dust from storage but almost no (if any) actual marks, scuffs or scratches.
