Description

This 45 is from the collection of Lance Records' owner and 2016 New Mexico Music Hall of Fame inductee, Dick Stewart, who received this copy directly from Delta Records' owner John Wagner, who also released three Delta 45s on the Stewart's band, the Knights A.K.A. King Richard and the Knights.

Sneakers' lead guitarist, Sidro Garcia, is considered the leading standout rock-and-roll/blues guitarist in Albuquerque during the early to mid-60s and was highly admired and respected by all the aspiring Albuquerque guitarists (including Stewart) of the time.

The Sneakers appeared as Sidro's Armada on the popular TV show of Jim Nabors during the late '70s and was a very popular band in Los Vegas, Nevada.The Knights was the backup band at Albuquerque's Dancette teen club during the early '60s while the Sneakers, who was the club's house band, was on tour. 

This 45,  which is very rare, is highly recommended as a great addition to those who collect Delta Records.
