Description

The Beatles "It Was 20 Years Ago Today"-compilation of 20 songs (some rare versions) on the TMOQ white label. See pictures for details. This is a hard to find album with blank white labels. Historical research says this was released in 1987. The only identification marks are in the dead wax area where side A is crudely etched CHA and side B is crudely etched CHB. See pix. (That is how we read them.) We have cleaned the vinyl and placed it in a new black paper inner sleeve. We play tested the record here in the Iconikrock basement on an Audio Technica ATLP120XUSB turntable and we rate the sound quality and condition as VG on some songs to VG+ on other songs. This compilation consists of songs recorded at different times during the Beatles musical careers, using different types of recording devices, then transferred to vinyl. For instance the "Honey Pie" alternate version has a skip in it from the transfer to vinyl, not on this record and Paul sounds like Tiny Tim.This is the reason we rate some songs are crisp and others distant. There is little background noise to be heard on the vinyl. We have enjoyed listening to this rare album on many occasions and we have decided to sell it and share it with someone else. We will securely pack the record in a cardboard record mailer and ship it using USPS media mail rates. If you buy this album play it as often as possible and maybe pass it on to another to enjoy.
