Description
Hello & Welcome
"Strawberry Fields Forever\Penny Lane" - A very rare Israeli Beatles EP from 1967 in a very nice condition! Looks similar to the French EP with the same title, but not quite. The Israelies removed the Odeon logo from the front cover and replaced it with the Parlophone logo. The catalogue number is the same as the French one MEO 134. The back cover is also a little bit different from the French one (please look at the pictures). I believe that not many copies were pressed back then in 1967 and probably only a few survived in a nice condition (the Israeli vinyl market in those years was very small and not many could afford buying 7 inch records, they prefered to buy a full album). Finding it in a nice condition is so amazingly rare! This is a nice condition!
The songs are:
Side one: Strawberry Fields Forever, And Your Bird Can Sing
Side two: Penny Lane, I'm Only Sleeping
Condition:
Cover: The laminated cover is EX to EX+ and very nice. Front cover: Nice and clean. The lamination ends one or two millimeters before the record's entrance and that's why there are a few white spots in the area, but it's not that bad. Back cover: Nice and quite preserved. There is a small stain to the left of the frame, but again it's not that bad. There are no seam splits and the cover's lamination is almost perfect! Please look at the pictures, they tell all the story.
Record: The record looks excellent and sounds nice. The yellow Parlophone labels are in great condition. The record comes with a nice original Israeli EMI nylon inner sleeve.
Shipping: Free shipping worldwide! I ship by a registered airmail.
Payment: I accept PayPal only!
Important! Please notice: My name is Daniel and I'm one of the two Israeli contributors for the Israeli section in the great book "BEATLES EP'S AND SLEEVES FROM AROUND THE WORLD, ILLUSTRATED DISCOGRAPHY VOL.4 1961 - 1971" By Samuel Coomans And Azing Moltmaker, Foreword By Bruce Spizer. I'm a serious Beatles collector and I'm a true vinyl lover! Please, bid with confidence!
