Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. << RARE ORIGINAL 1970 UK EVENING STANDARD SPECIAL PAPER >>
A very rare paper pressed just for the festival sat August 22nd 1970. It features the full programme that run for 5 days with many great photos including some great colour shots with a superb front cover with Pete townsend jumping over Rupert The Bear!!! The festival had one of the best line ups of all time including Jimi Hendrix , The Doors , The Who , The Moody Blues , Family ,Jethro Tull , Taste ,Free and ELP to name just a few.
The paper is in nice condition with some normal aging over the years , there is a small 1 cm tear that runs through a few pages on the front of cover but this is not serious as you will see. There are no pages missing or anything cut out and for a fragile paper of this age has survived very well. There is a fold down the middle but most would have been stored like this. This is a rare item and how many could have survived , I cant believe the festival was 35 years ago where does the time go.
The Paper will be very well packed and sent in a strong poster tube.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
