Released by Island in 1968, cat # WI-3124; this is “Twelfth Of Never” / “Caldonia” by Val Bennett.

This is the FINAL white label test pressing from this collection. You will never see the like of these ever again. There were probably only four of five test pressing ever made of these Island 45’s and in some case as few as 250 stock copies.

The matrix numbers stamped in the dead wax are WIM+73 and WIM +74. The only writing on the labels is what you can see in the picture.

Each playing surface has a light hairline mark across the vinyl not affecting play. The record grades a very conservative excellent and comes in the original plain white sleeve.

All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. If you refuse insurance and the record is damage or goes missing in the post, I’m afraid we cannot be held responsible and will not entertain any claims. UK record delivery is an extra 70p and special delivery is £4.75. Overseas insurance will be either £3.50 or £5.50 dependent upon the value.

Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
