Description

Released by Island in 1964, cat # WI-139; this is “Broadway Jungle” / “Beat Lied” by The Flames (aka The Maytals).

 

This week is a selection of the labels we have left to sell from our reggae collection. If you’ve not seen our auctions before, where have you been! This single is one of the very few that the original owner played in the clubs in the 60’s and on his radio show.

 

Both labels are clean with hardly any signs of wear. There isn’t much sign of spindle marks around the centre of either label. Visually, the A-side is free of any surface imperfections or damage from playing. The B-side has a light hairline mark right across the playing surface. When played, there is a little surface noise at the start of both sides and the hairline mark on the B-side does not cause any unwanted noise. The record grades as excellent.

 

Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.

 

Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.

 

Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
