Product introduction

A masterpiece that won the 55th "Record Academy Award" indoor music category in 2017

Frank by Faust & Melnikov, appeared in LP

2017 55th "Record Academy Awards" indoor music category winning masterpiece (KKC 5787 / HMM 902254), LP. Using the original master provided by Harmonia Mundi France, we make an analog master tape and then cut it. Ikuo Tsunoda, an audio critic, supervises the technology for making LPs.

Isabelle Faust's masterpiece Frank Sonata and Chausson's concert. It is also common in that it was by Frank and Chausson, a great French composer who studied under him, and that both works were dedicated to the great violinist Eugene Isai (1858-1931) at the time. It is a certain song selection.

This time, the instrument will be changed to Stradivari, which is nicknamed "Vieuxtan". The tone produced by that bow, which has no Faust fricatives, is delicate and fantastic. In Frank's sonatas, Melnikov's prelude draws you into an indescribable and fantastic atmosphere. The final movement also carries a dashing phrase, and the gorgeous beginning and end of the coder ends brilliantly. At the age of 25, Chausson aspired to the path of music, enrolled in the Paris Conservatory and entered Massenet's class, but began to study composition under Frank, a professor of organ department. This "Consale" (1889-91) is a masterpiece like a tamatebako with a famous melody. Throughout, Faust's delicate expression is exquisite. Formed in 2004, the ensemble with the Salagon Quartet, a mid-sized ensemble that revolves around the 18th century repertoire, is also perfect. And Melnikov is in the shadow and becomes Hinata, tightening the music.
