Description

Selling this for a friend who obtained it in 1980 via mail order from Bullett Records in Stafford .It's the original very limited release 3 track single that was to mark the start of this hugely successful bands recording career.

Side one Iron Maiden . Side two Invasion , Prowler . On Rock Hard record label ROK1. The run out grooves have *EG* SA LYN 7627-IT ROK-1 A , and *EG* SA LYN 7628-IT ROK-1-B .

Cover is very good , faint trace of ring wear on front and rear , and the very top of the front has faded slightly . There are no splits or markings .

Visually the vinyl has no marks on it whatsoever . Theres a bit of surface noise (crackling) on side 2 , but with a record this loud its not that noticeable , it's no string quartet we're hearing !

Label very clean , only faint traces of spindle wear.

Comes with original Iron Maiden Merchandise Flyer which is in excellent condition and seldom seen.

I've just examined the record again in bright sunlight and have to say that there are a few hairline scratch marks on the record , these can't be seen in normal indoor lighting condtions.Obviously these don't cause any jumping or clicking on the record.

I was trying to get a photograph of the matrix numbers , but the LYN 7627 and LYN 7628 are faint , and i can't get a good photograph. In fact i have not seen a photograph of these numbers in any previous sale of this item.
